The benefits of having a garden can’t be overstated. For those growing their own vegetables, herbs, fruits and much more, there are many benefits to be had. Not only do gardens provide you with fresh produce, they can also reduce your grocery bills, while teaching you valuable skills in the process.
When planning your tiered garden you will obviously need to decide on the size and scale of your drainage area. That will be governed by the size of your plants, the size of pots they can be planted in, and their eventual maturity. You also need to decide how many levels you want to include in your garden. Most tiered gardens have either two or three levels but there is no reason why you couldn’t create a four or five level garden if you wanted to.
