English laurel

English laurel (Prunus laurocerasus) is a deciduous, broadleaf tree native to Europe and Asia. The tree is hardy in U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 4 through 8. This tree is an evergreen in warmer climates. It grows rapidly and is not fussy about soil conditions. It provides dense shade, which makes it a good choice to plant around patios, pools or other outdoor spaces.

English laurel

English laurel plant is the common name given to the plant also known as “bay” or “bay laurel.” The English laurel also goes by the scientific name, Laurus nobilis. English laurel plant is a lovely evergreen that grows in U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 7 through 10.
