Ranunculus (daffodils) flowers are one of the best-selling flowers on the market today. The flower is in every way a classic, and well known in many countries, with varieties that are suited to being grown in our gardens. The flower colours of each type vary, with yellow, red and white being the most popular – this is due to the presence of special pigments in the petals of each flower.
Ranunculus is a genus of about 150 species of flowering plants in the buttercup family Ranunculaceae. Members of the genus are commonly called buttercups, crowfoots, or ranunculi. Buttercups are perennial herbaceous plants growing from short rhizomes. The flowers are usually solitary, 2–5 cm.
